King Solomon, the son of King David, followed his father to the throne ofIsrael about 965 B.C.. He reigned until about 926 B.C.. He could preservewithout any wars the empire, which King David has set up, because of hisintelligent policy. He furthered the art and the science and built the Templeof Jerusalem. By this Israel became a flourishing country under his reign.“The High Song”, a collection of love and marriage poems refersto King Solomon as the author. In the tradition King Solomon is reputed tobe the ideal for a wise and mighty sovereign. Very especially King Solomonwas revered for its justice. Still today people talk about a“Solomon’s judgment”, when it comes to a very wise and justdecision: The Holy Bible says, that two women came to Solomon, because theyhad a dispute about a baby. Each of the woman asserted that the baby is hers.So Solomon gave – just for show – the order to cut the living babyin two and to give half to one and half to the other. The true mother cried:Don’t kill the baby, give the baby to the other woman. But the wrongmother said: neither I nor you shall have the baby, cut it in two. Then Solomongave his ruling: Give the baby to the first women. Do not kill it, she isthe true mother. When the people heard the verdict, they praised the wisdomof King Solomon. (1 Kings, chapter 3, 16-28)

Mohiar, finest&nbspMaterial for Teddybears

Mohair is made from one of nature`s finest&nbsp sources for natural fiber,the Angora goat. This special fur is very long and naturally wavy. When sheared(this usually occurs twice a year) it is called mohair. The term "mohair"is derived from the Arabian word "Muhayar" which literally means "the fabricof goat hair". Despite the name similarity there is no relation to the Angorarabbit.

The collection of this noble hair does not require any animals to beharmed!

Angora goats are a delicate animal and are very sensitive to temperaturechange. This requires a dependable mild climate. Summers not so hot thatthe meadows dry out and winters not too cold. In the entire world there areonly three regions that consistently meet these ideal conditions: Texas,USA, South Africa and Turkey.

The fur of the Angora go at is naturally white, curly and shiny. Itsfibers have a remarkable strength when made into a pile fabric. Thesecharacteristics together with the noble appearance, silky feel and sheenmake mohair one of the finest&nbsp fibers offered by nature.
